On this Craft Cms lesson we take a look at the tools for success.
It has been the best investment I made in my design journey so far. I would consider myself a novice but I honestly feel like I've gained a genuine professional insight into the process of creating a high-level website.
I'm an early adopter of the KreativePro Masterclass, and I love how well put together it is. Neftali takes you through each step of the process from paper sketches to marketing all with fun visuals & clear instructions!
So let's take a look at the tools that we're going to be using in this course. The tools for success for me are tower, which is a git version control management tool. Then we're going to be looking at Multipass. Which is a local web server. We're going to install that so that we can run PHP and my SQL, that way we can also run Craft locally on the computer without the need of the internet.
Sequel Pro is actually our tool for management of database in this case, my SQL we're going to be looking at Visual Studio. Which is the tool I use to manage and edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. And then finally Transmit Five, which is an SFTP. It allows us to upload a lot of files or batch upload lots of files and images over to the cloud. In this case, Amazon S3, which is one of the clouds CDNs we're going to be looking at for Craft. All right. So let's go ahead and get started and look at the Craft mindset in the next lesson.
